Welcome back to another episode of the Y'all Be Good Podcast.

This week, Heather and I sit down with Cristina Thornton—a woman whose life's work has been helping people through some of their darkest moments.

Whether working in public service, as a parole officer, or alongside people in crisis, Cristina has dedicated her career to walking with others through hardship. But nothing could have prepared her for the greatest tragedy of her own life: losing her son, Isaac, to suicide.

Today, Cristina shares her story with incredible honesty and courage. We talk about grief, healing, faith, resilience, and what it really means to keep living after unimaginable loss. She reminds us that grief isn't something we simply "get over." Instead, we learn how to carry it while continuing to love, grow, and find purpose.

This is undoubtedly one of the most emotional conversations we've had on the podcast, but it's also one of the most hopeful.

If you've experienced loss, if you're walking alongside someone who is grieving, or if you're searching for hope in a difficult season, we believe you'll find something meaningful in Cristina's story.

This is Season 2, Episode 6 of the Y'all Be Good Podcast.
